What we do with a phone number.

Streta works for businesses that want to know something about other businesses. This page says what we collect while we do that, what we do with it, and what we never do.

Who runs this

Streta is operated by Sixteen Ventures LLC. We put a few plain questions to the businesses on a client's list and hand the answers back to that client. We sell nothing to the businesses we ask.

Our role

We work on a client's list, for that client. What we learn is delivered to that client and isn't sold or shared with another. We don't source leads, and we don't keep a database of businesses to sell.

What we collect

What we do with it

The answers go into the file of the client who asked for them. The client reads the file and decides who to engage and how. That's the whole use. We don't build a mailing list from it, and we don't use it to sell anything to the business that answered.

A few companies work for us in the background: the ones that carry our calls and texts, turn speech into text, and host our systems. They handle the data to do that work for us and and have no purpose of their own.

What we never do

Texting

We send a text only in reply to one that a person sent to one of our numbers. Their text is the opt-in. A thread carries at most 3 messages from us.

A request to stop in any other wording works too. The do-not-call policy says how we honor it.

Requests to stop

We keep the record that a number asked us to stop for at least five years (47 CFR 64.1200(d)(6)), so that we can honor the request for as long as it stands. We pass the request to the client on the row, so their outreach can honor it too.

Your choices

To stop calls or texts, say so on the call, text STOP, or write to hello@streta.ai, and we stop. A request to see, correct or delete a business's record in a client's list is a request about that list. It belongs to the provider the list came from and to the client who uses it, because we work on the list for the client and don't keep a database of businesses of our own.
